McKinney-Vento
The McKinney-Vento Act defines homeless children and youth as:
- sharing the housing of other persons due to economic hardship
- living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, or camping grounds;
- living in emergency or transitional shelters; or abandoned in hospitals.
