McKinney-Vento

The McKinney-Vento Act defines homeless children and youth as:

• sharing the housing of other persons due to economic hardship
• living in motels, hotels, trailer parks, or camping grounds;
• living in emergency or transitional shelters; or abandoned in hospitals.
